Weigh In, Stats, Goals, Habits

I weighed myself this morning. I had done it a couple of months ago at Vicki's but for some reason didn't believe the result!!........

It was EXACTLY the same as when I started to lose weight before my wedding in 2006! 106.5kg. My first goal back then was to lose as much weight as I could between starting with Vicki in June 2006 to our wedding 30th September 2006. I had heard that the body has a memory but that is ridiculous!
I always weigh myself 3 times at weigh in time ;-) Sound familiar to anyone? ;-) I have digital scales and it weighs to the 100gm, it tends to differ occasionally and we all know how every gram counts so I take an average out of the 3. This morning I had 106.3, 106.1, 106.2 so with an average of 106.2kg I have a very similar journey this time as I did in 2006.

I want to lose as much weight as I can between now and starting back at work on Monday 25th August. That is in 12 weeks (holy heck), we've all heard that losing 1kg a week is a safe and achievable goal. But I want to do more, don't we all. I remember how hard I worked to achieve 17kg in 13 weeks before when I only had myself to concentrate on, now I've got the baby to look after...or am I just making excuses....we'll see...baby steps.
There's a few habits I have to change. I've taken to drinking about 4 cups of tea when I get up. I don't drink coffee. This is before breakfast. I've also taken to not having breakfast until the baby goes down for his first nap which is about 2 hours after we get up. I need to have maybe 1 cuppa and then my meal replacement shake. I wouldn't mind betting that I got sick the other morning because I had all that tea, then my multiv, it could have been a very acidic start to the day. Then with the shake on top there was probably a little cesspool brewing in there.

The other habit is not 1 but 3 biscuits with my other cuppas throughout the day, and I reckon all in all I have at least another 4 cups. Too much caffeine if I'm going to be taking Hydroxycut as well, and probably too much milk even though it's skim.

So as far as goals go, and we must have goals, otherwise what have we got to work towards:

Goal No.1 - lose as much as I can before returning to work Monday 24th August - 12 weeks (a nice rounded amount of time). This may sound like a loose ended goal, but it's a starting point. It wont be until I get started properly and see how my body is responding that I'll be able to put a firm number on it

Goal No.2 - To reach 80kg

Goal No.3 - To reach 75kg

I'll be able to put time frames on these other goals as time goes on.

75kg is a big goal and a significant amount of weight to lose. 31.2kg.

Oh by the way (or weigh lol) these numbers may still sound pretty high, that's because I'm 180cm or 6ft tall. Yes a woman of Amazon proportions! Big boobs, big muscles (big ego you might say) and all!
I'll get to 80 and then re-assess. That's another thing you have to do, re-assess your goals. There's no use trying to achieve something that is just unachievable.
Last time I was within 2kg of my ultimate goal of 75kg and I pulled the plug. I think I put too much pressure on myself back then to look like a figure competitor. Let's face it there is no way I would be able to lose that amount of body fat and not go insane at the same time. I also HATE cardio which is the primary way to lose body fat. I started to compare myself to other girls that were looking to compete. The main difference between me and them...They were already athletes in some way, I'm in no way sports orientated, they were all skinny and were just trying to build defining muscle and lose between 1 and 5 kg. I have no problem building muscle or lifting weights, I'm a naturally strong girl. It's the body fat that I have to contend with.

Below are some comparison pics of me in 2006 when I first started training at 106.5kg. I still to this day feel sick when I see those first pics on the left. I was so bloated from a massive high carb diet and drinking way too much alcohol (alcohol is a story in itself). The ones next to that on the right are 13 weeks later and 17.5 kilos lighter at 89.kg. I got married at 84kilos.

The last pic is me at around 77-80kg (I think).
